How it works
Three steps, and you are in control of all of them
Nothing here commits you to anything. You answer questions, you get introduced to someone licensed to actually help, and then you decide. There is no application to fill out on this site and no credit check anywhere in it.
Start the questionsAnswer a few questions
About your work, your age and who depends on you. Nothing to look up and no documents to find.
We introduce you to an agent
Someone licensed in your state and independent, so they can compare several carriers instead of selling one company's product.
You talk it through
Pick a time that suits you. They walk you through what the carriers came back with and what it would cost. Then you decide, or you do not.

What we do
Carriers do not price everyone the same way. Some load the rate the moment they see a CDL and some barely look at it. Some treat any roofing work as high risk and some only care above a certain height. The gap between the friendliest carrier and the least friendly one, for the exact same person, is real money every month.
You cannot see that from the outside, and one company's salesperson has no reason to show it to you. So we ask the questions that decide it and hand you to a licensed independent agent who works with a spread of carriers.
There are a few kinds of policy you will hear about on that call. Here is what each one actually is.
Term life
Covers you for a set number of years, usually 10, 20 or 30. It buys the most coverage for the least money, which is why people with a mortgage and kids at home tend to start here. When the term ends, the coverage ends.
Whole life
Covers you for as long as you keep paying, and builds a cash value you can borrow against. It costs more per dollar of coverage than term. The tradeoff you are buying is that it does not expire.
Final expense
A smaller policy, often somewhere between ten and twenty five thousand dollars, sized to cover a funeral and the bills that land in the weeks after. Health questions are usually lighter than on a full policy.
Guaranteed issue
No health questions at all. In exchange the price per dollar is the highest of the four and there is normally a waiting period before the full benefit pays out. It is a last resort, not a first look.
Who it is for
Trades and trucking
This is built for people whose job shows up on an insurance application as a risk question. If your work is on this list, the carrier you go to matters more than it does for most people.
Truck driving
Welding
Roofing
Electrical
Plumbing and HVAC
Owner operatorsQIs this really free?
Yes. You never pay Check Life Quotes anything, and there is no fee added to a policy for coming through us.
Independent agents are paid a commission by the insurance carrier if you buy. That is how every independent agent in the country is paid, and it is the same whether you find them through us or walk into their office.
QDo I have to buy anything?
No. A lot of people go through this to find out where they stand, hear the numbers, and do nothing. That is a normal outcome and nobody will treat it as a problem.
QWill someone call me?
Yes, and that is the point. When you finish the questions you pick a time on the agent's calendar, so you know when the call is coming.
If you give a phone number, expect a text and a call about that appointment. Reply STOP to any text and the texts stop. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies.
QWhat kind of life insurance is this?
Indexed universal life, or IUL life insurance. It is a permanent plan in your own name: it does not end when a job ends, it goes with you when you change companies, and it pays your family if you are not here.
The agent explains how an IUL plan works in plain language on the call. Nothing on this site is advice about what to buy.
QWhy do you ask what I do for work?
Because carriers price it, and they do not price it the same way as each other. A long haul driver, a roofer and an office worker of the same age and the same health can get three different answers from the same company, and a different ranking of companies.
Asking up front is the only way to point you at a carrier that is comfortable with your trade instead of one that is not.
QWhat if my health is not great?
It matters, and it usually matters less than people assume. It also matters differently at different carriers, which is the part most people never see.
That is the case for talking to an independent agent rather than one company's salesperson. They can shop it. A captive agent can only tell you what their own carrier says.
